Before the next weeks of cold overnight temperatures, especially if you’re traveling, make sure your outdoor hose spigots are covered, or turned off completely until mid February when the freeze risk is down.

Once again this year ‘Blue Ridge Electric’ is offering a $100 rebate for installing one of their approved smart thermostats. These are especially valuable for second homes so you can program them remotely via bluetooth.
